$719 Oppo phone debuts in Australian stores

Oppo phones will debut in Australian stores with a $719 phone as the Chinese vendor attempts to win over Australian consumers.

The Find 7 phone is one of three Oppo phones being sold in 71 Allphones stores – the first time the brand has been sold in stores in Australia.

The other Oppo phones being sold by Allphones include the $219 Neo 5 and the $539 N1 mini. The three phones will be bundled with “bonus gifts” including speakers, covers and screen protectors for a limited time.

The Allphones partnership follows Oppo’s arrival in Australia in September, when it began selling the phones via the Oppo website.

The Find 7 is “for the busy professional” and has a 5.5 inch screen with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and 538 PPI display, 2.5GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC,3GB RAM, 32GB storage expandable to 128GB, 13MP camera, removable battery and LTE. The phone runs the Color OS, which Oppo describes as being “based on Android.”
