2024 CRN Impact Awards: Announcing the Network Evolution partner finalists

A state-wide SD-WAN rollout for law courts and a trans-Tasman network overhaul for a multinational are among the finalist partner projects  in the Network Evolution category of the 2024 CRN Impact Awards.

The awards, sponsored by Amazon Web Services (AWS), recognise the impact of Australian IT channel-led projects, innovation, ESG initiatives and leaders. Winners will be revealed at the gala CRN Impact Awards dinner which will take place at the 2024 CRN Pipeline conference on August 15.

The Network Evolution category recognises Australian networking projects that connected customers, sped up communications and broke down silos between teams, data and environments.

The partner Network Evolution finalists are:  

• Productivity’s network upgrade for Victory College: The largest networking endeavour in this partner’s history, this network and security upgrade involved HPE Aruba networking and security solutions and Palo Alto firewalls, supporting the Queensland college to double its student numbers.
• BluBiz Solutions SD-WAN deployment for Yakult: BluBiz Solutions met a tight deadline to move this multinational’s Australian and New Zealand locations to a Fortinet SD-WAN solution.
• Platinum Technology’s infrastructure overhaul for Autosports Group: This partner assisted the 70-site, 2,000-person automotive dealership network in Australia and New Zealand with a comprehensive overhaul of its IT infrastructure, including a new core data center firewall and switch, Fortinet SD-WAN and HP Aruba switching and access points at all sites.
• Datacom’s work on an SD-WAN rollout for South Australian Courts Administration Authority: Datacom handled the network and SD-WAN design, deployment and configuration on this project, which ensured courtrooms in 17 regional and metropolitan sites have bandwidth needed for critical functions.

Due to the large number of entries, we will not be announcing vendor and distributor finalists. Vendors, distributor and partner winners will be announced at the gala CRN Impact Awards event on August 15 during the 2024 CRN Pipeline conference.

Thank you to everyone who entered this category. If your entry isn’t a finalist, that does not mean the judges thought it was without merit. We received many entries and separating the nominations was not always straightforward. Thank you for giving the judges the opportunity to learn more about your achievements.
