CSG managing director Denis Mackenzie has stepped down after 11 years in the position to make way for the company’s head of technology Julie-Ann Kerin.

Specialist Australian solutions integrator and NetApp Gold Partner, Envisian, has appointed well-known IT industry sales specialist, Sue Tabor as an account executive. Prior to accepting the role with Envisian, Tabor spent 15 months on sabbatical.

Avnet Technology Solutions has named William Chu president of its Avnet Technology Solutions, Asia Pacific, operations.

Former E*Trade managing director Stuart Sayers will join Yahoo!7 in the newly created role of chief operating officer, commencing in April. Sayers has a background in management consulting at McKinsey and in transactional businesses from his time at E*Trade and ANZ Bank.

SaaS e-commerce firm BigCommerce has appointed Soren Harner as vice president of engineering, to oversee design, development and testing with a team of 25-plus engineers from the company's Sydney headquarters.

John Paitaridis is the new managing director of Optus Business. Paitaridis leads the Optus enterprise, corporate and government business and is responsible for all aspects of the division’s sales, marketing, products, operations and service delivery, including Optus’ wholly-owned subsidiary Alphawest and its Uecomm business. Paitaridis is a senior executive with 20 years’ experience in the telecommunications and IT sectors. Paitaridis joins Optus from Telstra, where he was most recently executive director, network products and services in the enterprise and government space.

Hitachi Data Systems Corp has appointed Charlotte Ong Wisener to channel marketing manager in Australia and New Zealand. Based in Sydney, Wisener will lead the strategy, development and implementation of the partner and alliance elements of the ANZ marketing plan, including planning and executing partner programs and driving brand awareness. Prior to joining Hitachi, Wisener held roles at IBM, SingTel, Nortel Networks and Pacific Internet.

Epsilon has named Regina Leung as vice president, marketing, international, a role that expands her current responsibilities as vice president, marketing, Asia Pacific (APAC) to include marketing leadership for the company’s operations in the Europe (EMEA) region.

Distribution Central has appointed Mark Hill to lead its ACT branch. Hill was most recently regional manager ACT for Wilson Security, managing key accounts, the operations of the ACT branch and growing the business.

Macquarie Telecom has appointed Brian Fenwick as general manager for government hosting. Prior to this role, Fenwick was the Australian director of the public sector for Avanade Australia, a joint venture between Microsoft and Accenture.
