What winning the CRN Fast50 meant to us: NGage Technology Group
NGage directors Brent Valle and Jarrod Bloomfield

Melbourne-based NGage Technology Group was No.1 in last year’s CRN Fast50, with stellar growth of 264.98 percent. We caught up with director Brent Valle to find out what it felt like to win.

Entries to the 2014 CRN Fast50 are now open!

“We had been eyeing off the Fast50 for a couple of years. It was on the radar from an early stage as something the business collectively would like to achieve. So we decided that when we were eligible, we would have a crack. We went through year one then, as we got to the end of our second year and we’d had solid year with a lot of growth, we thought we might be a real chance.

“Then there was the build-up through November [after NGage found out they’d made the list, but didn’t know what rank]. We were excited. We looked at other years’ results and benchmarked our results. You never quite expect to win these things, but we thought we were a chance. We knew things had been working for us and the feedback from customers and vendors had been positive.

“It was fantastic. All this work and effort had gone into it and we had this feedback that we were making a positive contribution the marketplace. It was a nice recognition.”
