What SaaS brands and related services do you specialise in?
The SaaS applications we provide to the SMB market include Microsoft Office 365, StorageCraft, Webroot and Dropbox Business.
When did your company first get involved in this area?
We started managing, selling and supporting Office 365 when it first came out in 2011. We have been delivering StorageCraft’s ShadowProtect SaaS solution since 2014 and Webroot’s AV solution since 2015. We added Dropbox Business to our portfolio in 2016.
What credentials and certifications does your business have that apply to SaaS delivery?
eNerds is a Gold Microsoft Partner, a Platinum StorageCraft Partner, a Select Dropbox Business Partner and a Certified Webroot Partner.
Do you use a distributor, and if so, who?
Ingram Micro and Rhipe.
What are the coolest or most interesting new developments in SaaS?
The fact that SaaS is fast replacing the need for most small to medium businesses to host their own applications. This is having a profound impact on server hardware sales, but still provides excellent professional services and annuity revenue opportunities for the channel.
Can you tell us about a recent major or particularly interesting SaaS deployment?
We recently deployed Dropbox Business and Microsoft Office 365 for the Sydney Film Festival, which improved productivity, collaboration, and reduce downtime and frustration with their traditional file servers.
What factors are driving customer interest in SaaS?
The main driver is the fact that traditional server-based vendors like Microsoft and StorageCraft have transitioned to a SaaS annuity licensing model, so many clients are upgrading to this new approach.
