Forum Group's collective age is an asset

With Forum Group chief executive Bill Papas.

What printing brands and services do you specialise in?

For print, our partners are Konica Minolta, HP, Brother, Lexmark and Fuji Xerox Printers. We provide a number of bespoke solutions to our customers, leveraging partners such as Filebound, Solbox and Papercut.

When did your company first get involved in this area?

Shortly after our inception in December 2011. Among the shareholders and management of the business, we collectively have hundreds of years of experience in this industry, which is certainly one of our key assets.

What certifications do you have that apply to printing?

We were HP’s CMPS partner of the year for 2016 and are Konica Minolta’s largest national dealer. As I mentioned, too, our collective experience is valued by our customers.

Which distributors do you use?

Forum partners with all of the major distributors in Australia: Ingram Micro, Dicker Data, Synnex, Alloys and Dynamic Supplies. Their level of support and commitment is integral to our service delivery.

Have you heard about any cool or interesting developments in the printing space?

Forum Group buying Imagetec. Externally, the innovative solutions being made available by our solutions partners are providing us with new opportunities to add value to our customers. Also, the levels of cyber security offered by some manufacturers is increasing.

Can you tell us about a recent printing deployment you have done?

We’ve recently done some major deployments across Australia and New Zealand for large organisations such as Findex, Westrac and HWL Ebsworth.

What is driving customers’ printing projects?

Cost and value add solutions and automation of previous manual processes – these include both processes to manage the customer relationship and to improve the efficiency and productivity of our customers’ businesses.

Printing is...?

A necessary evil that can be better managed and reduced through effective consultation and recommendations.
