Case-mate appoints Cellnet as master distie

Case-mate, a designer of accessories for mobile devices, has appointed Cellnet as its master distributor in Australia.

The partnership will see Cellnet supply case-mate's products to retailers and telecommunications markets.

Case-mate has customised cases for iPhone, Blackberry smartphones and the iPad that boast advances in materials, finishes and technologies, the company claimed.

Shashi Reddy, founder and chief executive of case-mate, said Cellnet's "expansive distribution reach" and "strong focus on accessories" was a key driver behind the appointment.

"Even though case-mate lives in a world of small products, we're always thinking big. Our focus is constantly on identifying and developing the next innovations for the mobile accessory space, whether it be in materials, finishes or technologies," he said.

Cellnet Group CEO Stuart Smith said, "case-mate's reputation for innovation, reliability and quality was a key factor in deciding to add their products to our portfolio", he said.
