Cloud-based infosec vendor Zscaler has appointed Dilshan Sivalingam as its first alliance and channel manager for Australia and New Zealand.
Sivalingam will be responsible for developing and maturing the Zscaler channel as the company grows its footprint in the region. He will seek to develop new relationships with globally and locally managed services providers and top-tier system integrators.
Sivalingam joins Zscaler from Enghouse Interactive, where he served as the national business development manager and strategic partner manager for the region. Before that he was Shoretel's regional sales and partner manager. Across his career, Sivalingam has more than 18 years of experience in IT, including 12 years with NEC Australia, which he joined in 1998.
Zscaler ANZ country manager Sean Kopelke said Dilshan brought proven channel-building skills to the business.
“His proficiency in partner-led sales, coupled with driving successful go-to-market strategies within the channel community will be an invaluable asset to Zscaler as we continue to expand the role of our channel program in supporting our company’s growth trajectory,” he said.
Zscaler has offices in Sydney and Melbourne and a channel of more than 120 partners. The company’s Australian body includes local pre and post-sales technical engineering assistance, sales enablement tools, training, marketing development funds, a partner portal and certification programs.
