Cloud security vendor Zscaler has announced changes to its Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) leadership team, including Charlie Cote taking over as ANZ director of channel and alliances.
Cote brings 30 years' IT experience to Zscaler, having spent the last two as Asia-Pacific VP at Hyperscience.
He previously served in leadership positions at the likes of Cybereason, FireMon, Fuze, Fortinet and Extreme Networks.
Zscaler has also appointed Eric Swift as ANZ VP to oversee "growth, business strategy and ongoing regional investment," the company said.
Swift joins Zscaler after a three-year stint as ANZ VP and MD at ServiceNow, having previously served in multiple leadership positions during a 20-year spell at Microsoft.
Meanwhile, Zscaler has appointed Ben Graetz to the newly created role of ANZ VP of business operations.
Graetz joins the company after serving as director of business strategy and operations at ServiceNow for over two years.
He brings twenty years' experience in leadership, sales, strategy, product management and operational functions in the technology sector.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Eric, Ben and Charlie to Zscaler to strengthen our team and capabilities in ANZ,” said Andreas Hartl, senior VP of APJ at Zscaler.
“We have a great opportunity in the region to build the Zero Trust momentum and empower our customers to combat the evolving threat landscape we’ve been experiencing in the past few years."
"With advancements in AI, data and automation, and an increase in sophisticated attacks we need to build our customers' resilience to cyber threats and accelerate their digital transformation initiatives.”
