Video conferencing company Zoom said it has appointed former NICE sales director Mike Johnson as its head of channel for Australia and New Zealand.
Johnson brings more than two decades of sales experience to the role, including over five years at NICE and 11 years at Rackspace.
He takes over channel responsibilities from Ashley Allen, who moves to managing strategic partners for the region.
The appointment comes as Zoom plans to boost investment in partner-related resources in 2025, including new tools to streamline collaboration and simplify onboarding processes.
"His proven record and deep experience in the CX sector will be valuable as we expand our Zoom Contact Center business in the dynamic region," Bede Hackney, head of ANZ at Zoom said.
"Mike's leadership will be invaluable in helping our partners leverage Zoom's AI-first work platform to drive growth and deliver meaningful customer outcomes," said Jacob Pereira, APAC head of channel at Zoom.
Reporting to Pereira, Johnson will be tasked with advancing Zoom's partner and channel growth strategy across the region.
