The channel is about partnership and we all have to work together, right?
But despite clear rules of engagement and well-articulated partner programs, conflict between vendors, resellers and distributors is commonplace. It can feel like an unavoidable part of doing business in the channel.
Some grievances between partners are forgivable; other breaches can leave lasting scars that take years to heal.
CRN hears it all, from partners complaining about vendors going direct, to vendors telling us about partners dropping prices in a race to the bottom, and many more gripes and grievances.
So what are the worst channel behaviours and how can things be improved?
