The Azentek CPC-1200 and CPC-1100 car computer systems provide users with the same features as a car stereo, as well as GPS navigation, mobile phone integration via Bluetooth and multimedia playback.

Westwell is also launching the Azentek SmartMirror GPS rear view mirror, with reversing camera to replace a car’s standard rear-view mirror.

“The Azentek in-car technologies are ground-breaking products which provide the highest quality features ever offered in automotive computer systems,” said Michelle Jin, operations director, Westwell Australia.

“This award-winning technology is the future of in-car entertainment and we expect strong uptake in the local marketplace,” he added.

The CPC-1200 is a Microsoft Vista-based PC, running off an Intel Core Duo processor and Microsoft Windows Vista.

Users can play the radio, music files and DVDs; access GPS functionality; make and receive mobile phone calls; and send and receive emails via voice recognition and touch screen.

The Azentek CPC-1100 in-car PC system acceses entertainment, business, telecommunications, navigation and automobile capabilities.

The two products will be available in Australia in December from selected motor vehicle manufacturers and auto fitters.

The Azentek SmartMirror will be available in November from automotive accessory retailers and selected vehicle manufacturers.
