The vendor, of internet monitoring, analysis and reporting software, claims that with diversions such as social networking, video-streaming, sports, travel, online games and shopping sites it is critical for organisations to monitor their Internet and Network investment.
Vantage Ultimate also provides secure web based distribution of reports and functionalities that protects employee privacy.
“Our resellers will strongly benefit from Vantage Ultimate’s competitive advantages. In our prevailing economic downturn they need to be able to offer solutions specifically designed to cut costs, increase productivity and automate workflows,” said Lagis Zavros COO of WebSpy.
“Resellers will also find that Vantage Ultimate is a perfect compliment for the blocking and filtering solutions they already sell since it can analyse more than 200 different log file formats, many of which from blocking and filtering vendors,” he added.
According to Zavros the majority of log file analysers are hard-coded to analyse a particular log file type, forcing organisations to use different analysing software for different log files.
In addition, they often lack any protection of employee privacy. They provide open or shut access, meaning that anyone with access to their solution can view anyone else’s activity.
He said organisations are recognising that issues relating to inside threats need a two pronged attack – protection of their business through reliable security systems and education of the workforce to drive responsible behaviour.
