Internet security vendor Webroot has promoted sales manager Crispin Kerr (pictured) to head up the company’s operations in Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia.
Kerr replaced former Australian managing director Charles Heunemann, who held the role since its establishment nearly four years ago.
Kerr was most recently enterprise sales manager for Webroot’s operations in the region and has about ten years of sales, marketing and business development experience in web security.
“In the first three months of this year, our operations in Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia experienced a 73 percent growth over the same period in 2010,” said Don Beck, senior vice president of worldwide field operations at Webroot.
“Kerr has played a critical role in achieving this growth,” he said.
Andrew Simbaqueba has stepped into Kerr’s previous role from Symantec’s security and compliance group.
