WatchGuard unveils ANZ Partner Award winners

Unified cybersecurity company WatchGuard Technologies has announced the winners of its annual ANZ Partner Awards, recognising key partners across Australia and New Zealand for their contribution to customer success, business growth, and platform adoption.

Now in its 11th year, the awards celebrate WatchGuard’s channel-first approach and highlight its partner ecosystem across SMB, mid-market, and Pacific Island markets.

The four winners were selected from a pool of over 150 certified partners by WatchGuard’s local APJ leadership team, following a review of 2024 performance across revenue contribution, technical capability, marketing execution, and competitive wins.

Systemnet Pty Ltd was named Partner of the Year for outstanding performance across revenue, technical capability, and strategic engagement.

Systemnet is WatchGuard’s largest ANZ revenue partner, with consistent year-on-year growth, delivering nearly half of its 2024 revenue in the second half alone, and full-stack platform adoption.

The Next Level Excellence Award went to Manux Solutions Limited, recognised for early adoption and technical leadership.

Manux was the first ANZ partner to implement both MDR and NDR, demonstrating strong alignment with WatchGuard’s innovation roadmap.

Clearly IT was awarded Competitive Win of the Year, celebrated for standout partner performance.

Clearly IT delivered a full-stack WatchGuard deployment for a major customer, replacing legacy security systems and significantly growing the WatchGuard footprint.

VITG took out the Marketing Program of the Year award, with the company highlighted for excellence in collaborative marketing execution.

VITG delivered a high-impact campaign around the AISA Cyber Security Conference, generating qualified leads and contributing to strong YoY growth.

WatchGuard's recent initiatives include local enablement via roadshows and bootcamps, adoption of ThreatSync, MDR and NDR, and flexible licensing through FlexPay - all delivered through the WatchGuardONE Program, which aligns with frameworks like the Essential Eight.

The WatchGuardONE Program has also driven a 20% increase in ANZ partner certifications and engagement over the past 12 months, according to the company.

WatchGuard Technologies MD for the ANZ and Pacific Islands, Anthony Daniel, said partners are central to how the company delivers security outcomes across Australia and New Zealand.

"These awards recognise the commitment, capability and impact our top performers delivered - from competitive wins to marketing execution," he said.

"We’re proud to support such a strong ecosystem, and we’ll keep backing our partners with the tools, insights and flexibility they need to grow.”
