Wacom has added Scholastic to its New Zealand distributor stable for its range of pen tablets.
Scholastic is known for its active presence as a education distributor in New Zealand, and claimed the Wacom portfolio will compliment its other vendor offerings including Adobe, Corel and Microsoft.
David Spencer, regional managing director for Wacom, said: “We are very excited to finalise this agreement and work towards providing a better logistics solution for the New Zealand education sector.”
Spencer said the deal enables Wacom to service educators throughout New Zealand more efficiently and reach more classroom environments.
The vendor has also unveiled details of an entirely new brand in a major refresh of company operations. The brand agency behind the London 2012 Olympics Logo, Wolf Olins, have come up with a logo that defines the Wacom company motto of “Open Up – Sense More”.
“It has been an exciting year for Wacom with new products and a whole new brand about to be released, so we are now well positioned to ensure New Zealand educators are able to take advantage of the latest developments in pen tablet technology,” added Spencer.
