Customers can register their interest and receive further information about the HTC Magic.
The phone operates on the Android platform, delivering a mobile internet experience and broad flexibility for personalisation via the Android Market.
Also available in black, the HTC Magic boasts a 3.2 inch QVGA touch screen and a trackball and navigational buttons.
It also includes a variety of mobile internet capabilities beginning with an Android-optimised Webkit browser and Google applications.
Edward Goff, head of consumer markets at Vodafone Australia, said it will offer both the black and white variants to its customers - the white is exclusive to Vodafone - and Google branding.
In addition, the Vodafone device comes with Firmware Over-the-Air software, which automatically updates handsets with Android software.
"We're certain the new HTC phone will weave its magic when it launches here in Australia," he said.
