Vocus CFO resigns
Rick Correll, Vocus

Vocus Communications CFO Rick Correll has resigned after seven years with the integrated telecommunications provider, the company announced today.

Chairman David Spence thanked Correll for the “enormous contribution he has made to building Vocus into the business it is today”.

“His contribution has been instrumental in creating a strong business platform with significant growth opportunities in its core target markets, well positioned to continue to generate excellent returns to shareholders,” Spence said.

Vocus grew its revenue 455 percent to $830.8 million in the 2016 financial year, the substantial growth attributed both organic progress and a result of acquisitions including Amcom Telecommunications and M2 Group in February.

Vocus chief executive Geoff Horth said: “I would like to add my thanks to Rick for for assisting us with the transition in the business that has occurred since the M2 merger.”

Correll has agreed to stay on with Vocus over the next few months while an internal and external search for his successor takes place.
