Email security vendor Mailprotector has commissioned distributor VExpress for its expansion into the Australian market.
"We already have some legacy business in Australia, but this new distribution deal will provide real-time account management, support and 'feet on the ground' to help grow this legacy base and bring on new partners," said Mailprotector sales director Scott Tyson.
VExpress will carry Mailprotector's entire email product catalogue, including filtering, outbound policy management, archiving, backup, encryption and hosting.
"Our resellers will also see the benefit of an incremental monthly recurring revenue by offering end to end email security, management and hosting services," said VExpress product manager Xavier Simon.
VExpress, based in Artarmon, Sydney, announced that Mailprotector would be included in its roadshow touring eastern Australia this month.
US-headquartered Mailprotector launched in Europe in November 2014. The vendor is owned by parent Virtual Connect Technologies – a hosted application development house. It bills itself as providing "the best email services for resellers".
