Veritas Technologies has appointed Louis Tague as managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
Tague will lead the business across the region and deliver information management solutions to partners and customers.
The former sales director said this is a great time to lead Veritas: "There's an enormous opportunity to deepen our customer relationships in both the enterprise and commercial markets and strengthen our partner ecosystem."
Tague has over 20 years' experience in the IT industry. He has worked for companies such as Fuji Xerox, IBM and Symantec. During his 10 years at Symantec, Tague held various roles including sales manager, director of national enterprise partners and lastly director for enterprise sales.
Veritas senior vice president for Asia Pacific and Japan Chris Lin said: "We are thrilled to have Louis lead our ANZ operations. With his focus on customer advocacy, strong experience in the financial services sector and proven track record, I'm confident he will be able to accelerate Veritas' growth."
