Veracity Business Solutions appoints Daniel Bayfield as CEO

Brisbane-based technology and consulting business Veracity Business Solutions has appointed Daniel Bayfield as CEO.

His appointment follows Veracity’s acquisition by Evergreen and its transition into the Lyra Technology Group in late 2025.

Veracity will continue to operate under its established brand, with the same focus on technology-enabled solutions for clients across not-for-profit businesses including arts tourism, charities and member-based organisations, as well as government and local businesses.

Bayfield brings experience spanning technology and managed services, business growth, client strategy, and partner ecosystems, most recently in a nine-year stint at blueAPACHE with his most recent role being head of business development.

Prior to this, he served as BDM at Computer One and QLD sales manager at TIMG.

As part of the leadership transition, Bill Owens, Veracity’s former MD, will remain in the business as founder, supporting value creation and strategic client relationships.

Chris Greathead, GM for consultancy services, will move into the role of COO, bringing more than a decade of experience across client delivery, major technology projects, service desk leadership, and consulting.
