Melbourne-headquartered solutions provider UXC has acquired SAP Hybris Asia-Pacific partner of the year Contiigo.
Contiigo, operating out of offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Chicago, Hyderabad and Wodonga, is a specialist systems integrator of Hybris, the arm of SAP that produces customer engagement and ecommerce software.
According to Contiigo's website, the firm boasts big name clients such as Woolworths, Target, Jeanswest and Jaycar. The solutions provider is the only platinum Hybris partner in the Asia-Pacific.
The value of the acquisition was not disclosed.
"By leveraging the significant involvement of contiigo in B2B and government sectors, together with the existing white labelled business, we not only expand our solution depth and blue chip customer base but also gain synergies in delivery," said UXC managing director Cris Nicolli.
UXC's SAP integrator arm, UXC Oxygen, will absorb Contiigo into its operations over the next three months, including 25 staff, its customer base and intellectual property.
Contiigo founder and chief executive Matt Hampshire said the acquisition would be "seamless" and will be "business as usual from day one for our customers".
"Moving forward, they will be able to access a much wider IT capability, ranging from strategic services such as business strategy and user experience design, right through to managed services across the full stack of SAP applications and associated infrastructure."
UXC said in its announcement to the ASX that Contiigo, established in 2004, has "strong onshore software development capability" and is the "only SAP systems integrator in Australasia with a proven digital customer engagement commerce offering".
UXC Oxygen already runs a healthy SAP business, with CRN last month reporting its work with $9 billion-asset utilities company Jemena, the November hiring of SAP guru Berend Adrian as COO and acquisition of another unnamed SAP integrator last June.
