The search engine indexes all IT data from applications, servers and devices.
According to Tom Piotrowski, managing director of Unixpac, systems administrators and security specialists can search and navigate logs to investigate incidents in real time.
Unixpac will become the distributor for Splunk products across A/NZ.
"Think of Splunk as Google Search of the IT Industry. The technology is absolutely awesome and indispensable in indexing any type of logs and IT data," said Piotrowski.
Piotrowski claims Splunk can find operations and recover from problems, keep servers and networks running, has a secure fast response and meets all requirements for IT data management.
