Global managed security services provider Trustwave said it has been appointed to the Information Communications Technology Provider Arrangement (ICTPA) panel.
This appointment allows Trustwave Asia Pacific to directly offer cybersecurity services to the Department of Defence, marking a milestone for the company.
The ICTPA panel plays a role in streamlining the procurement process for advanced technology and cybersecurity solutions for the department.
Trustwave's inclusion on this panel means it is seen as a trusted partner in national security and cybersecurity.
"Trustwave's appointment to the ICTPA panel will enable Defence and Intelligence agencies to leverage its sovereign, high-quality, and flexible cybersecurity capabilities," Jason Whyte, general manager Asia Pacific at Trustwave, said.
"This opportunity solidifies our commitment to delivering exceptional cybersecurity services and reinforces our role as a key player in protecting Australia's national interests," Whyte added.
Defence refreshed the ICTPA panel in 2023, to ensure that it offers up-to-date services.
