Transport for NSW has awarded Dimension Data a $31.6 million contract to provide Microsoft enterprise software.
The new three-year contract is for a standalone Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, as part of the pair's exclusive reseller relationship.
Transport NSW was scant on details when approached for comment, other than to say: “Dimension Data is Transport for NSW’s nominated reseller.”
“The Microsoft Enterprise Agreement covers cloud services and support for Microsoft products.”
CRN also contacted Dimension Data for comment.
Transport NSW named Dimension Data as its primary software reseller for the state’s Transport Cluster, following a competitive tender process in May.
The five-year, $46 million dollar contract also covers the provision of Oracle, Symantec, Citrix, Veritas and VMware software licences, as well as Microsoft.
This contract follows recent government wins for Dimension Data, including being part of the Department of Defence’s 100-supplier IT services panel, and a $15 million support contract from CSIRO.
