Transition Systems brings Windows collaboration display OEM Avocor to Australian channel

Transition Systems has been selected to bring Avocor's line-up of collaboration displays to the Australian and New Zealand channel as its sole distributor for the region.

The distie will be responsible for marketing and channel sales for Avocor's tablet-like displays that function similar to a digital whiteboard. Transition will distribute the vendors' E-Series and F-Series devices, along with its upcoming Windows conference displays.

Microsoft introduced Windows Collaboration Displays category in June this year which encompasses large Windows 10 and Microsoft 365-enabled interactive displays similar to its own Surface Hub but from OEM partners. At the time, Avocor and Sharp were announced as the first two partners to put out the Windows displays.

“We are delighted to partner with Avocor," Transition Systems managing director Mike Beesley said.

"There is a great untapped niche for agnostic display solutions work seamlessly with Unified Communications products and across multiple platforms. We are looking forward to a lasting and productive relationship with Avocor and a rapid growth of Avocor’s market share in the ANZ region.”

Avocor general manager Dana Corey said his company's products were a favourite among resellers for their agnostic support of third-party hardware and software like Skype for Business, BlueJeans, Zoom and Hangouts.

"Working with Transition Systems and their stellar team and infrastructure, now partners and clients in Australia and New Zealand can integrate Avocor collaboration displays into any size room and seamlessly into any enterprise."

Transition Systems specialises in unified communications, as well as networking, security and storage. The distie was named a finalist in the 2018 CRN Impact Awards for its work with fullcrm to update its CRM and ERP platforms to a new Salesforce system.
