Three ISVs merge to form Trialta

Australian and New Zealand software companies Microsell, Acuere and The Integrators have merged to form Trialta, a new company that would specialise in business efficiency systems.

Individually, the three companies focused on business software services, particularly CRM.

Trialta would broaden the scope to include business consulting services in the areas of sales, customer service and support, distribution, logistics and manufacturing.

The organisation — which has a combined turnover of $8 million and 42 staff — would by headed by Deborah Miller, previously chief executive of Acuere.

"We have a five-year plan to double growth," Miller said. "The merger has given us a much broader geographic spread and a very experienced management team which will be a solid foundation for expansion," she said.

Trialta has a combined customer base of 250 mostly SMEs in Australia and New Zealand.

Miller jointly founded business services company Pilot Software with business partner Greg Simmons in 1991 before the company changed its name to Acuere in 2004.
