Thomas Duryea Logicalis wins Dell EMC awards

Thomas Duryea Logicalis was named Dell EMC's 2016 APJ Solution Partner of the Year, the only Australian company to take an award home from the vendor's global partner awards this year.

According to Dell EMC Australia managing director Angela Fox, Thomas Duryea Logicalis demonstrated expertise in developing the vendor's solutions for commercial, enterprise and government customers.

"This award recognises Thomas Duryea Logicalis' commitment to Dell EMC and their innovative approach to developing both on-premise solutions and a Dell EMC-based cloud."

The award recognises channel partners based on their dedicated use of Dell EMC technologies to provide solutions for customers. The annual awards took place on 18 October during the Dell EMC Global Partner Summit in Austin.

"We are excited by the opportunities presented by the merger of Dell and EMC and the combined company's ability to provide the best technologies from desktop to server ad cloud, and we have a strong commitment to this strategic relationship across the Thomas Duryea Logicalis business," Michael Chanter, Thomas Duryea Logicalis chief operating officer, said.

Logicalis has recently completed the merge with Thomas Duryea, which was acquired in December 2015 for $17 million.

The company has gone through several changes since the announcement, from the closure of the Queensland operation, to two top executives, including former chief executive Basil Reilly, leaving the company in September.
