Thales-owned security vendor Tesserent has been awarded a $2.1 million contract by Legal Aid New South Wales, to provide a range of cloud infrastructure services.
Among these are infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), disaster-recover-as-a-service (DRaaS) and backup-as-a-service (BaaS).
The contact spans the 2025 calendar year.
Sydney cloud services company iQ3 through which the services will be provided was bought by Tesserent in 2020, for $17.2 million.
The contract notice said the payment to iQ3/Tesserent may be varied as the cloud services will be provided on consumption based model.
This is done per virtual processor and per gigabyte of storage, with no minimum commit, meaning the amount payable could increase or decrease depending on workload.
