Thales Australia owned Tesserent said it has secured Microsoft Solution Partner designation in three key areas: security, Azure infrastructure and Modern Work.
This was achieved by going through Microsoft's evaluation process to assess performance in acquiring new business, training and certifications in key areas, and customer success.
The triple certification strengthens Tesserent's position in the cybersecurity market, potentially opening doors to new clients and partnerships.
However, the company will need to maintain these standards to retain its partner status, as Microsoft regularly reviews its partners' performance.
"Microsoft Solution Partner designation is a mark of excellence recognised worldwide," Tesserent chief executive Kurt Hansen said.
"Tesserent has met and exceeded the stringent Microsoft standards, providing our clients with confidence in the team's proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including advanced security measures, robust Azure infrastructure, and modern workplace solutions," he added.
The security vendor is now setting its sights on obtaining Microsoft certification in Data and AI, as well as App and Innovation.
These new Microsoft certifications complement Tesserent's existing credentials, which include Crest Penetration Testing, ISO 27001 Process Certification, DINZ Digital Identity New Zealand Member and GIAC Global Information Assurance Certification.
Tesserent was bought by France headquartered multinational Thales in June last year, with the deal being completed in October 2023, resulting in a combined team of 500 cybersecurity experts.
