Terrie Anderson replaces Adam Gordon as Forescout country manager

The local arms of network security vendors Forescout and Gigamon have been playing musical chairs with their leadership, leading to the appointment of Terrie Anderson as Forescout's country manager.

Anderson joins from Venafi where she was regional director for Asia-Pacific for three-and-a-half years. Prior to that, she was regional sales director for Riverbed Technology.

“I look forward to working with our partners across ANZ to help them understand the unique business opportunities afforded by Forescout," Anderson said.

"Adding intrinsic value to their customers and helping them leverage Forescout to address the IT/OT convergence challenge will help contribute to their overall success.”

In her new role, Anderson will focus on driving awareness in the market for trends including IoT security, convergence of IT/operational technology and compliance risks, as well as working with partners and customers.

“IT/OT convergence is becoming a hot topic with CIOs as they are increasingly required by boards to take responsibility for the entire security strategy that also includes OT networks," Anderson said.

"With the explosion of volume and diversity of IP connected devices within enterprise environments, particularly with the internet of things (IoT) and OT, it’s a huge challenge for the IT leaders across all industries."

She replaces Forescout's former country manager Adam Gordon, who left in January after a year-and-a-half to take on leadership of Gigamon's ANZ business. Gordon himself took over from Ian Teague, who left in May to become country manager of enterprise identity governance solutions vendor SailPoint.
