Telstra-owned managed service provider Versent is rolling Telstra Purple Cloud and Digital and Epicon into the wider Versent brand.

In a post on LinkedIn, Versent said by combining Versent, Telstra Purple Cloud and Epicon under the one brand, the technology consultancy can amplify its complementary capabilities.

“As we continue to grow, we remain grounded in our core principles, always staying true to our commitment to getting it done,” said Versent’s CEO.

Telstra acquired Melbourne-based Versent in October 2023 for $267.5 million, after buying Canberra-headquartered managed services provider Epicon for an undisclosed amount in 2020.

Epicon counts a number of government agencies as its clients – the Departments of Defence, Environment & Energy and Home Affairs among them, plus the NSW and Victoria state governments – as well as Bupa, Tabcorp and Bank of Queensland.
