Telecoms, cloud, voice and UC distributor Telarus has signed a global partner agreement with the Australian subsidiary of unified communications vendor RingCentral.
RingCentral provides enterprise cloud communications and collaboration solutions, with an all-in-one phone, team messaging, and video conferencing solution its main product.
The vendor is also Telarus’ first partner in Australia, following its expansion into the country and bringing its agency model concept to prospective partners.
“RingCentral is a fantastic partner in the US, and we are thrilled that they have opened an office in Australia.” Telarus' recently appointed head of channels Tony Heywood said.
“Demand is high, and we see a fantastic opportunity to service the Australian partner community and develop the Agent community along with it.”
RingCentral also appointed Ben Swanson as its new director for Asia-Pacific channel sales in March. “I know we will have a fantastic partnership,” Heywood said of the appointment.
“Telarus and RingCentral are a winning combination in the U.S., and we plan to extend this success in Australia,” Swanson said.
“We are already seeing demand from partners and their customers, and we are excited to work with the first batch of new agents. Our industry-leading global cloud communications solutions help business customers achieve enhanced mobility, scalability, and collaboration.”
Telarus last month appointed Heywood to lead its expansion into Australia and New Zealand and is tasked to introduce its agency model concept to the region.
The concept recruits, trains and supports third-party “cloud brokers” to advise clients on which cloud communications and infrastructure service is right for them.
RingCentral earlier this month partnered with Sydney-based eVideo communications to distribute its all-in-one phone, team messaging, and video conferencing service in Australia.
