TechnologyOne has been awarded a $10.6 million contract to replace the e5 ERP system at the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources
The Brisbane-based software company will provide 5,000 permanent licences of its One Government Finance Management software, and will assist with the transition away from e5, which is owned by UXC Eclipse.
As part of the contract, TechnologyOne will provide one year of support and maintenance, which can be extended each year. The contract runs until June 2021.
"With the government's move to [public sector-wide] shared services, the department is upgrading its ERP system now to a more modern platform to enable a smooth transition to shared services in the future."
TechnologyOne executive chairman Adrian Di Marco said: "Our OneGovernment solution is a proven fit for the requirements of federal government agencies and departments, reducing the time, cost and risk associated with large enterprise implementations."
According to TechnologyOne, the software company has recently signed the Federal Department of Treasury and the Australian Bureau of Statistics in a shared services arrangement.
"The TechnologyOne GovCloud implements the detailed requirements surrounding the Australian government’s information security manual for unclassified data. Through our industry cloud solution, all agencies and departments on Treasury’s shared services arrangement will use a single version of the software," said Di Marco.
TechnologyOne posted a 12 percent growth in revenue for the half year ended 31 March 2016, hitting $101 million revenue for the six months.
