TCS becomes first global integrator partner for Mistral Forge

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has become the first global systems integrator to partner with French AI company Mistral on its Mistral Forge platform in a deal aimed at helping enterprises build custom, domain-specific AI models grounded in their own proprietary data.

Mistral Forge is Mistral’s system for enterprises to build frontier-grade AI models tied to their own knowledge and domain-specific data. Under the partnership, TCS will use it to build custom models for clients, drawing on the company’s presence across Asia-Pacific, North America, the UK and Europe to tailor deployments to each industry’s operations and regulatory requirements.

The companies said the work will initially focus on banking, financial services and insurance, manufacturing, healthcare and the public sector, where trusted AI adoption is becoming more pressing.

TCS also plans to set up a dedicated Centre of Excellence for Mistral to drive joint innovation, build industry-specific solutions and give clients early access to Mistral’s beta models, along with training and the specialist talent needed to design, deploy and govern AI systems.
