Tal Nathan has joined Rimini Street as its regional chief technology officer for Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to joining Rimini Street, Nathan spent more than 18 years with the broader NTT Group, including most recently as MD of applications solutions, data and AI for ANZ.
He also held such roles with NTT Data as VP of digital, VP of GTM and CTO.
In a post on LinkedIn, Nathan said his journey so far has taken him from co-founding one of the earliest commercial AI and natural language processing startups, to executive, technology and innovation leadership across two continents.
"Through all of it, there was one constraint I could never evade: a CIO’s budget, and the operational capacity required to turn innovation into execution," he explained.
"Rimini Street has spent two decades challenging the assumption that enterprises must follow their software vendors’ roadmaps to keep innovating. Today, Rimini Street has expanded well beyond independent enterprise software support, helping organisations optimise, evolve and innovate across their technology estates.
"My mandate is to help lead that shift across ANZ: setting the region’s technology and innovation agenda, and working directly with boards, CIOs and executive teams to create the capacity and release the funding required to transform."
