The distributor is actively looking for bigger premises. Other actions being implemented by Synnex include increasing their sales force, expanding premises and targeting new market segments.
As the market expands, Synnex Australia is positioning itself to meet the increased demands of its customer base, said Synnex Australia CEO Kee Ong.
“Queensland is a major area of growth for Synnex. We’ve outgrown our 1000 square metre warehouse and plan to increase our capacity threefold. A larger warehouse will enable Synnex to increase its inventory and this means faster turn-around for our customers,” he said. "We are keen to enlarge our presence in the local market by servicing more resellers and establishing closer relationship with the local reseller community.”
Glenn Salata, Synnex’s newly appointed state sales manager for Brisbane said a key objective will be to expand its operation by exploring new premises for its impending move.
“In order to meet the demand generated by our reseller channel, Synnex is planning to move to a 3000 square metre facility as soon as we find suitable premises.” said Glenn.
