Sydney's VMtech scores NetApp gold in Vegas

Hybrid cloud solutions provider VMtech scooped two partner awards at NetApp’s Insight Conference in Las Vegas.

The Sydney-based company picked up NetApp’s FlexPod Premium Partner Accelerator Award for ANZ. The award recognised partners for FlexPod performance across training, enablement, demand generation, revenue growth and number of units shipped.

FlexPod is NetApp’s converged infrastructure solution with prevalidated storage, networking and service capabilities, developed in partnership with Cisco.

VMtech solutions architect manager Jon Dawes also picked up the Tech Team Award for outstanding contributing to NetApp’s Australian channel business. Dawes has worked for VMtech since 2013.

VMtech chief executive Len Findlay said: “To be recognised as a top FlexPod partner for NetApp, along with Jon’s individual recognition, is a testament to the passion and commitment of our incredible team.

“The awards highlight our success in addressing customer challenges with flexible and efficient solutions.”

VMtech was founded in 2009 and has been a NetApp partner since its inception. It is currently a Platinum NetApp partner.
