Sydney Water has put the call out for an IT partner to design, build and run its enterprise resource planning, billing and customer relationship management solution.
Sydney Water CIO George Hunt said the utilities company needed a partner with strong industry relationships and prior experience implementing SAP ERP, CRM and working with utilities.
“We are embarking on a once-in-a-generation investment in technology that will deliver a customer focused, forward-thinking, mobile and integrated business. Such a once-in-a-generation IT investment must be well considered, given the implementation cost and risks,” said Hunt.
He added that the partner would bring new capabilities to the project, as well as work openly and transparently to direct the program.
“The enterprise resource planning, billing and CRM programs are integral to our vision as we look towards 2020 and beyond to becoming one of the world’s best water utilities. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced partner to help us achieve this goal.”
