Security software vendor Unisys has appointed Aquion as as it’s first reseller for its flagship Unisys Stealth product suite in Australia and New Zealand.
Established in 2002, Sydney-based Aquion serves local businesses with enterprise grade security software solutions, specialising in encryption, vulnerability management, anti-malware authentication SIEM and cloud access security.
Joining Unisys’s authorise software channel, Aquion will also offer support to the Stealth products it sells in Australia.
Unisys Stealth is designed to mitigate cyber attacks from both outside and within the organisation by rendering devices undetectable on data and users undetectable on the network using identity-based micro-segmentation techniques and encryption. Unauthorised users are prevented access from Stealth-protected endpoints, which are also obscured from view.
The software was last year deemed suitable for use by governments in 20 countries by US-based National Information Assurance Partnership. According to Unisys, The solution met standards recognised by Australia, New Zealand, United Kington, Canada, Germany and others.
Unisys Asia Pacific vice president Tony Windever welcomed Aquion as a new channel partner.
“The stakes are high for business leaders; cyber breaches can result in brand damage, market devaluation or loss of customers,” he said.
“But as our work and personal lives become increasingly hyperconnected, the risk of security breaches, whether accidental or deliberate, is inevitable.
“Aquion has a proven reputation for delivering security solutions in Australasia, and we look forward to working together to help protect more organisations and their employees, customers and citizens.”
