Start-up scores big with Telstra contract

Start-up telecommunications and utilities provider Infrastructure Services Group Management (ISGM) has picked up an exclusive contract with Telstra to manage the telco's subcontractor customer installations and maintenance for copper services.

The deal is the first for the company after its 2010 launch. ISGM communications manager Carla Tatulaschwili said the deal was the company’s cornerstone partnership.

Covering telephony, broadband, ULL and jumpering activities between Telstra exchanges and customer premises, the deal spans five years with a two by two year extension option and includes an exclusivity contract stating ISGM will provide solely to Telstra. Tatulaschwili likened the company’s role to ‘the man or woman in the van’.

ISGM declined to comment on the value of the deal.
