Audio-visual and document solutions distributor Midwich Australia has acquired Melbourne-based distributor Blonde Robot.
Blonde Robot, which specialises in professional video, broadcast and photography, will report into Midwich Australia managing director Michael Broadbent, with Chris Horsley-Wyatt staying on as chief executive.

In addition to its operations in Melbourne, Blonde Robot also has subsidiaries in Hong Kong and Malaysia, operating across the Asia-Pacific region.
Midwich meanwhile is headquartered in the United Kingdom, with its Australian operations based in Sydney. It specialises in audio, video and data distribution and display technology, carrying vendors like Sony, Samsung, Epson, LG, NEC, among others.
