SonicWALL manager takes over Websense NZ channel

He will support the company's channel partners in New Zealand and spearhead its Web security sales and solutions.

Barton worked closely with the New Zealand channel when he was with SonicWALL for four years, he was also channel manager A/NZ managing its reseller and distribution relationships.  

"Our engagement with the channel is all about enabling partners to create opportunities for revenue growth and profitability," said Barton.

"Within New Zealand we have a great customer base and strong demand for our products and we are focused on helping our partners maximise the opportunity for their businesses.

"I'm excited to have the opportunity to focus my attention solely on the New Zealand market and am looking forward to building on the success Websense and its partners have enjoyed," he added.

Prior to SonicWALL, Barton was business development manager at Sophos based in Sydney where he focused on the government and enterprise sectors.
