Epicor Software Corporation announced today that Tieman Industries has selected its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution to support the company’s growth and drive greater operational efficiency.
Tieman provides transport and material handling equipment from liquid road tankers, warehouse dock products through to truck tail lifts and vehicle disability access equipment.
The company has multiple manufacturing sites in Victoria and sales and service branches in all of the major states.
The Epicor solution will be implemented across the whole of Tieman from marketing and sales, production and planning, sourcing and procurement, installation and service, through to financial control and management.
"This is a key win for Epicor in Australia, which demonstrates the strength and core competencies of our supply chain and manufacturing solutions, said Craig Charlton (pictured), vice president for Australia and New Zealand.
"Together with our specialist manufacturing and distribution implementation partner, COGITA, we are delighted to be working with such a reputable company as Tieman Industries, who share a common goal with us of delivering outstanding levels of service to customers in the Australian market," Charlton added.
According to Dale Tieman, joint managing director for Tieman Industries, Epicor had the best solution to fit their diverse business needs.
“Epicor and COGITA took the time to understand our business requirements and processes and translated that into what the solution would provide,” Tieman said.
Epicor designs solutions to meet the needs of make-to-order and mixed-mode manufacturing and distribution companies.
