Simon Gillespie named NZ country leader for Kyndryl

Kyndryl has appointed Simon Gillespie as country leader for New Zealand.

Based in Auckland, he will be responsible for driving Kyndryl’s growth and expansion in the New Zealand market, deepening customer and partner engagement and leading the company’s response to rising local demand for cloud, AI, cybersecurity and other mission-critical services. 

He joins Kyndryl from Fujitsu, where he was sales manager for NZ, and has also held senior leadership roles at NTT New Zealand, Spark Digital and Dimension Data NZ.

Graeme Beardsell, Kyndryl’s newly appointed A/NZ MD, said Gillespie has a proven track record of leading high-performance teams and guiding organisations through significant change and transformation.

"His deep knowledge of the New Zealand technology landscape and his established relationships across the market make him a strong leader to drive growth for Kyndryl in New Zealand and accelerate the value we deliver to our customers as they run and transform their mission-critical systems," he said.
