Canadian-based software developer Marketcircle has appointed Simms International as its exclusive distribution partner in Australia.
Marketcircle develops business management products for Mac OS X and iPhone. Products include Daylite and Billings.
Simms said that the partnership strengthens its offerings to small-to-medium businesses which rely on Apple.
Simms' 'Mac in Business' application suite now includes Apple, MoneyWorks, Daylite, Billings, Filemaker and Microsoft Mac Office.
Danny Moore, managing director of Simms International, said Apple business users have been a "key market for us since day one".
"This combination of category-leading technologies allows smaller businesses to run their Mac-based operations efficiently, seamlessly and securely. It will save them crucial time and money," Moore said.
The Daylite tool manages mail, tasks, calendar scheduling, project collaboration, the sales process and contacts, claimed Marketcircle.
Moore said Marketcircle provides "excellent" training and support programs for resellers.
Alykhan Jetha, CEO of Marketcircle, said the company had been "excited" about the Australian market for a long time.
