Shamane Tan is departing Sydney-based information security consultancy Sekuro after eight and a half years.

Her most recent role, based out of Singapore, was chief growth officer for APAC and EMEA, a role she held for around 18 months.

Prior to this, she served as chief growth officer for APAC for Privasec, which was one of four companies that came together to form Sekuro in 2021.

In a LinkedIn post, Tan said Privasec grew from a boutique Australian cybersecurity firm into a business spanning multiple cities, countries, sectors and time zones.

“Along the way, I had the privilege of helping shape the business through a merger and two exits, culminating in Sekuro becoming part of Insight, a Fortune 500 global company with more than 14,500 teammates worldwide," she said.

"To the many teammates, executives and CxOs I’ve had the privilege of working alongside over the years, across every timezone and every season, thank you for the journey, the belief and the memories."

Last year, Insight Enterprises announced its subsidiary, Insight Enterprises Australia Pty Limited, signed a definitive agreement to acquire Sekuro.
