Service Stream scores with NBN Co again

Melbourne-based network services provider Service Stream has again extended its relationship with NBN Co.

Service Stream has provided NBN Co with service activations, service assurance and proactive maintenance services under an agreement struck December 2015. Now the two have extended the Operations and Maintenance Master Agreement (OMMA) for another year, until 21 December 2020.

Service Stream‘s ASX announcement of the extension (pdf) says “revenue under the OMMA contract was approximately $275 million in FY19 and $215 million in FY18.” We’ll guess it rises again next year, seeing as there’s more of the NBN to maintain and plenty more activations to conduct.

“We are delighted that by extending the OMMA contract, nbn has demonstrated continued confidence in Service Stream’s ability to support its national operations and the enhancement of its customers’ experience as they connect to the National Broadband Network,” said Service Stream managing director Leigh Mackender.” We look forward to continuing as nbn’s leading operations and maintenance delivery partner.”

Service Stream previously won more work from NBN Co in June 2018, when it scooped a $45m deal to provide design and implementation of small network moves, adds and changes, plus and restoration activities.
