Schneider Electric has partnered with security solutions provider Gallagher Security to integrate enterprise-grade physical security into its digital buildings platform.
The partnership brings together access control, perimeter security and intrusion detection with building and energy management technologies. By combining the two, customers can manage security and operations through a more connected, extra-low-voltage system.
The core value proposition of the integration, the companies said, is enabling tighter integration between security and building systems. This, they claim, delivers greater flexibility in platform selection and a more cohesive extra-low-voltage technology stack.
“This partnership reflects our commitment to delivering fully integrated building systems,” said Louise Monger, vice president, Digital Buildings, Schneider Electric.
“By bringing Gallagher Security’s market-leading security solutions together with our digital building expertise, we are enabling customers to access greater choice, stronger connectivity and solutions aligned to their operational and security needs. It strengthens our ability to deliver true end-to-end building outcomes while supporting continued growth in our projects and services business.”
“As projects become more complex, customers are looking for tighter integration between security, building management and energy systems,” said Scott Johnstone, national sales manager, Australia, Gallagher Security.
“By aligning our security expertise with Schneider Electric’s building management and energy capabilities, we can help customers implement smarter, more connected environments that enhance operational performance, safety and resilience.”
