SAP's Western Australian leader Nicole O’Connor resigns

Nicole O’Connor has resigned as general manager of SAP Western Australian operation in the latest leadership shakeup across the region.

“Nicole has been a key part of the team over the past four years, establishing a strong base of operations for us to deliver for our customers in WA and raising SAP’s local profile as an innovator and social impact partner,” an SAP spokesperson told CRN.

O’Connor will leave the company at the end of September.

While SAP hunts a permanent successor, SAP Asia Pacific Japan vice president Peter Hutt will step in temporarily to support the WA office alongside Leanne Taylor, SAP ANZ vice president of sales and strategic customer program.

It's the latest in a number of leadership changes at SAP – in July, Colin Brookes was named SAP managing director for ANZ while Scott Russell was named president of SAP Asia Pacific Japan.

O’Connor became SAP's first general manager of Western Australia in 2013, tasked with introducing SAP’s offerings in cloud, mobile and database solutions to the state.

She had previously worked at Western Power, the state’s electricity network provider, and with the WA office of IBM as the regional sales manager.
